Welcome to the Kunzel - Kinzel - Kinsell Family!

This site is dedicated to the Künzel (Kinzel, Kinsell, et al) family in America. My name is Carla Kinsell Hoffman, and I am setting up this site for the benefit of anyone interested in learning about our relatives.  Lois Kinzel-Keith (my aunt) wrote a book called "Kinzel - Koch and - Krippner Kin", which got me interested in learning about my heritage and where my father's family came from, and where they are going to. Lois Kinzel-Keith has traced the family line back to Adam Kůnzel (1594-1655).  I am using her book as a reference to build this site, but I would also like to hear from other members of the family and would appreciate any help I can get to put this site together!

The first Künzel to come to America was Johann Matthaus (John Matthew) Künzel (1823-1883), who emigrated to the U.S. from Bavaria in 1852. He was married to Eva Margaretha Krippner (1829-1914) who also emigrated to America in 1852.  The following is my lineage (copied from Lois Kinzel-Keith's book). I have only included the lineage that actually lived in America.  I am still working on filling in information on these people, and I would appreciate any information you may have.
