Traveling Has become my new Thrill in Life. Basically I work so that I can afford to continue to go places. As much as I love having a set place to consider home, I get restless and am constantly getting bored. Plus I am constantly amazed about all the places in the United States and the World. This summer, my main purpose was basically just to get to California. Despite warnings from many people about driving cross country in a Neon, I took my chances and hit the Road. Driving up the HUGE mountains in Colorado was a bit rough for the poor little car, but it survived a tramatic rear ending in Las Vegas and gusty winds in Death Valley, and eventually made it in one piece to Berkeley. Yeah! I love driving, so I didn't mind the hours upon hours of endless road. But even if i didn, i think i still would have just been so amazed, by everything that I got to See. Not to mention all the people I met.
As long as I have some sort of plans to go places or do things, I feel like my Life is not just one meaningless day after another. I don't want to get caught in the whole working just to pay bills cycle. So far that's unfortunately the cycle I'm caught in right now, but with a little strategic planning, it won't be a lifelong thing. Maybe that's why I like finance- the whole idea, that a dollar today is worth more than a dollar tomorrow.
