The Dave Matthews Band

Although not nearly as frequently as before, I still have the occasional dream with a cameo apperance by Dave. I'm still a big fan of his song and lyrics, but as he's getting more well known and popular, I'm trying to lose my overwhelming enthusiasm for him. But I'll still always defend him to any of my friends who for some reason, don't have much need or appreciation for him.
In April, I saw him play in Roanoke, VA. It was the begining of his summer tour and Before These Crowded Streets hadn't even been released yet. We packed 5 people into my compact car and drove from late Friday night for 8 hours until we finally made it Roanoke. It was a distance, but definately worth it. I had a great time. So great that my sister and I wanted to catch him again in Virginia and in North Carolina. We were going to make it part of our road trip back east, but we would have had to miss the begining of school. So being the responsible adults that we are, we decided against it. I wonder where I'll see him nexy year- apparently it's not going to be at Worcester.

DMB Websites

(All Sites are Listed Alphabetically)

  • Official DMB Website -- The Official The Offical Website of the DMB

  • Another Glass of Wine -- Here you can find lyrics to all those songs that you can't find lyrics for! Includes several different versions of unreleased songs and alternate lyrics for songs that are released.

  • Blue Water Baboon Farm -- A cool DMB website dedicated to the "past" days of the Dave Matthews Band. In my opinion this is the best site for written opinions on the band. BWBF hasn't been updated in a while, but it's still one of the classics.

  • Crash: The Unofficial DMB Website It's the DMBML Sister Site, so of course it's good! Great site that was voted Best in Content in our 1996 DMB Website Awards. If you're into learning every detail about the band, this is definately the place to be.

  • Dangerous Hours -- Dangerous Hours is one of the best DMB websites on the Internet right now... it's definately the most creative DMB website anywhere. This page is brought to you by the number 41.

  • Dave Matthews Band Bootlegs -- One of the premiere sites in DMB taping information and tapelists.

  • Dave Matthews Band Insider Information -- THE site with answers to all those frequently asked questions not included in the FAQ, and some answers to those not so frequently asked questions, as well.

  • dmbphotosite -- Featuring what is probably the longest listing of DMB pictures anywhere on the Internet, this site is a must see.

  • Fu's DMB Page -- Awesome page with some great stuff. This site has the best (and only, to my knowledge) Dave & Tim picture archive anywhere!
