North 'til the Wheels Get Wet!

A driving trip north to see
the sun not set. Then back home.

Surprisingly, we made it up here a day early. The bugs are brutal, but this midnight sun is wild. It is worth the trip. 60 hours driving, and Allen got to stay the the Ted Kazinsky suite while Jason and I shared another cabin. They are kicking me out of the library now, so updates and many pictures to follow. Thanks Julie for lending us the video camera.
This trip is scary stuff.

First pic that was posted. These are the flowers that were waiting for me when we arrived. Vickie had checked the web for florist shops in Inuvik, and when that turned up nothing, had the inkeeper get them so they were there when I arrived.
