Butterlilly's Kingdom
*stepping into the soft carpeted room... you spot a small map encased in glass hanging on the wall... at a closer view... you notice that it is the map of the Butterlilly Kingdom of Unicorns... "Interesting.".. you think to yourself... and you turn around to exit the room... but what stands in front of you startles you so much that you let out a small yelp... and before you stands a smiling girl... her eyes bright with livelyhood... her dress cleaner than white... and her cheeks aglow with happiness... she grins at you and begins to speak*
Why, hello there!! I am Amalthea, the Protector of all that is Pure and Good, and the Guardian of Unicorns. I see that you have read about the Butterlilly Kingdom of Unicorns. It just so happens that I am the guardian of them!!! Now, before you ask any questions, I have some things to tell you.
To begin with, the story of the Butterlilly's Kingdom goes as follows.
A long long time ago, unicorns freely roamed the earth. Most lived on the mainland, but there were the few kingdoms that lived off shore. Among them were the Butterlilly's.
The Butterlilly's Kingdom was an extremely nice place, and very safe one, as well. Because the mainland was facing the bay area, whenever ships came to attack them, their boats would be drawn in there, and with the cliffs so tall and straight up, it was an impossible feat to climb to their tops. And with the desert next to the bay as well, they had complete protection. But not only did they have protection, but they had an enourmous supply of food- the Endlessly Green Pastures, and an endless amount of living space- The Shadowed Forest. Everything was perfect for them, until something mysterious happened.
Being so isolated had many advantages for them. They had an endless amount of food & shelter, and they had an extrememly safe island to live on, but the isolation did bring a disadvantage. You see, one day, a lonely unicorn flew over to the mainland into a secluded spot, and made a new friend- a human friend. The unicorn brought his new friend back to the island, but he also brought something else- a terrible plague. The unicorn's immune system was so weak, compared to those whom had lived out with many people, that they all began to die off quickly. 100's of unicorns were dying everyday, and the population began to dwindle. But, luckily, I made it to the island before all had died off, and so did my sister.
*she points towards her right and out steps another woman.. her sister... and she introduces herself*
I am Lea, the Guardian of Life, and the Protector of All that is Growing. We made it to the island before all of the unicorns had died off. I used my powers to stop the plague from spreading anymore, and Amalthea nursed all of the sick unicorns back to health. And so the kingdom was safe, except for the number of unicorns alive were dangerously low. After the plague had completely died out, there were a total of 10 unicorns left. 2 were young children, 4 were very old adults, and 4 were young adults. The 2 young children, after learning about the death of their parents, well, let's just say that they took it upon themselves to end their lives. And, one of the older unicorns, after learning of their grandchildren's death, passed away. And, inevitabley, this struck the unicorn's mate like a thousand knives and he died of a broken heart (or so they say). The 2 older unicorns were to old to lay eggs, and the 4 young adults were to young to lay eggs as well. And so, life went on for 10 more years.
Suddenly, one day, both of the older unicorns fell ill and passed away quickly. All that were left were the 4 unicorns- now adults- of the once very large Butterlilly's Unicorns. But now that they were older, these unicorns were ready to mate and and eggs. And that's just what they did!! Fortunately, among the many different kinds of unicorns, one of the pairs were the highest ranking dragons- the gold (female) and the silver (male). This enabled at least one of every color of unicorn to be produced!! This news was extremely wonderful!!

We were very happy to see that the Butterlilly Unicorn's were successfully reproducing, but than we realized the problem. Usually, the older unicorns, and the younger ones, helped out the parents with their newborns, since many many eggs were laid in each "clutch". And we realized that there were going to be about 17 eggs, and only 2 of use, plus 4 parents- and that wasn't enough. And so, with these unicorns permission, we now bring you the start of the Butterlilly Unicorn's Adoptions, and the dawn of a new era!!!
And that brings us to where you come in. We will hope that you will adopt one of the many unicorns found here. We have lot's of information to tell you, and after you have successfully learned about these unicorns, you may be able to adopt one!!!
And now, if you are ready, we shall go meet the remaining Butterlilly unicorns, and all of their wonderful eggs!!!
