Spain
Seville, Spain
Seville is situtated in southwestern Spain. We came here as a stopover en route to Morocco, but decided against Morocco after hearing from other female travellers of their experiences.

This cathedral was build in 1401 by the Catholics after razing the greatest of the Almohad mosques. Only St. Peter's in Rome and St. Pauls in London are larger. Though it doesn't look all too impressive from the outside, inside are massive pillars supporting a vaulted roof and housing treasures beyond belief, including the remains of saints and apostles and the tomb of Christopher Columbus.
San Sebastian, Spain

Certainly one of the prettiest places I've ever seen. San Sebastian is a favourite summer vacation spot for Spaniards and it is easy to understand why.
This city was small enough to explore by foot, popping in and out of tapas bars, that lay out an array of tasty tidbits for you to try while enjoying your drink (then calculate the bill according to how many toothpicks you have on the plate). Shopping was wonderful and the people so kind. Definitely a city to return to.
Barcelona, Spain
Barcelona was indeed my favourite stop. A mix of renaissance, gothic, progressively modern art, bustling streets.... I was in heaven! The "RAMBLES" (boulevard that goes down the centre of the city to the Columbus monument at the waterfront) was simply beautiful. Tree-lined with bird-vendors, gypsies, sidewalk artists and street musicians offered a taste of Spain that will forever be in my heart.

Barcelona has so many museums, including the Picasso museum which houses the Harlequin and Maids of Honour series.
