Johann (John) was born December 23, 1823 in Thiersheim, Bavaria and died March 25, 1883 in West Point, Nebraska.  His father was Johann Kunzel, born October 31, 1794, Silberbach by Selb, died after 1859, Middle Mill, Thiersheim, Bavaria; and his mother was Katharina Barbara Frober, born in Garmersreuth/Arzberg, died in Thiersheim and married on October 19, 1820.
Johann & Eva had 14 children, of which only 6 survived to adulthood.  Two children were named Anna Christina - the first one was born May 8, 1856 and died September 11, 1856; the second one was born June 20, 1857, and died May 18, 1858. Two children were listed in the 1870 census as Ada, 13 and Bernhard, 2; but I have no other information on them.
