It's been a while since I
posted a new update, so I decided to wipe the old page clean and start
over. Here's what's new with me in the last year or so.
Last year I was a freshman at
Wake
Forest University. Sadly WFU wasn't the place for me. To
be honest, I have never spent a more miserable 8 months in my entire life!
Well, I have since moved on to bigger and better schools. May I emphasize
BETTER?? I'm now at the University of
North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and I am very happy here. If anyone
wants to know more about either Wake or UNC, please EM me and I'll be happy
to be brutally honest with you about either school.
As busy as I've been in the
last year, I still managed to find some adventure. OK, most of my
adventures involved finding ways to get to races! Luckily for me,
I was pretty darn successful! Last year I managed to get to three
Winston Cup races-the MBNA Platinum 400 at Dover in May, the UAW-GM 500
at Charlotte in October, and the Napa 500 at Atlanta in November.
This year I've gone to the Busch Alltel 200 at Rockingham in February and
to the Winston Cup Food City 500 at Bristol in April. I don't think
I'll get to any more races this year without some divine intervention,
but I've got a lot of hope for next year!
I spent the summer of 1999 working
my butt off! I worked full-time for a clerical temp agency during
the week and part-time at good 'ol Maple
Grove on the weekends. I managed to get away twice during the
summer. Once was for orientation down here in Chapel Hill so that
doesn't count, but the other was our annual family vacation to Stone Harbor
NJ the first week of August. As always, it was great.
Sadly I have nothing to report
on the guy front. Still very much available and looking!
