This is just a quick page to start getting the pics on line.
This on was Secret's idea. It was actually a lot of fun, but this kind of fun requires a little separation from the event. The more time that
passes since the trip (done on 9/1), the better it seems. My attitude the day after was 'Been there, done that, got the T-shirt.' It has improved
significantly since then.
The first question most people ask is 'Why did you do it?' I seen to have a lot of trouble answering this. The most plausible explanation so far is,
Secret went along with my crazy idea, so why not? My only real concern at this point is that The Monkey Boy's idea is next.

This was the first patch of snow we passed. We thought it was kind
of neat then. After passing near several others, and actually climbing
through one, it lost a little of the thrill

before. A hint, pack straps can chafe if you're wearing a tank top. ;-)
Early in the hike, we foolishly assumed that the peak in the
distance was our goal. Not even close.
