Peter P. Miller

We here @ robsgrille wish a most happy to Peter P. Miller, of Palm Desert, California, who is celebrating his 81st birthday on June 20, 2000. "Pete" is my father-in-law, who I've been priviledged to have known for 19 years, now.
He's a modest guy, but he is one of the bravest people I've ever known, who served with valor in World War II, and was shot down by the Germans and captured during the Battle of the Bulge. They marched him over 300 km to the Stalag, where he was kept until freed by General Patton, who berated the prisoners for allowing themselves to be captured. "Welcome home", hey?
