As I scan the photo albums containing pictures from various winter trips I have taken, I notice just how much of a beach bum I literally am. My photos are a collection of my laying around like a beached whale... but I wouldn't have it any other way ! There is nothing I enjoy more than shedding the layers of winter wool as I leave Toronto in the middle of winter, and find myself running my toes in the white sands of a Caribbean beach. Yes, I am lazy when I get there, but isn't that what winter getaways are all about ???
