AFTERCARE 
 



 Caring for your new tattoo is a big deal
mainly because you don't want to get infected and all nasty.
This page is to help you out. Below are some simple instructions.


 #1 ALWAYS keep your new tattoo clean. Bacteria is EVERYWHERE.

 #2 When you leave the tattoo shop remember the 
    bandage must stay on for a minimum of 2 hours 
    but no more than 24 hours. If you decide to sleep 
    with your bandage on ( because you didnt get it
    finished until the evening ) and you like to shower 
    in the morning anyway leave the bandage on,YES 
    even in the shower, that way it will be easier for the 
    bandage to come off and won't stick to the tattoo.
    You dont want to pull any color out.

 #3 Anyways, after your all clean and no longer stinky, apply 
    a thin layer of A & D ointment to your tattoo. Don't GLOB 
    it on. NOW apply A&D to your tattoo at least twice daily,
    remember to wash your tattoo before you apply ointments! 
    Use A&D for 2 days 

 #4 After using A&D for the first 2 days your going to switch to
    LUBRIDERM HAND LOTION. Again apply it to your tattoo whenever
    it feels tight and  dry. You will use this product for about 
    5-7 days. AGAIN WASH between applications.

***IMPORTANT STUFF TO REMEMBER***
Keep your tattoo out of the sun

Don't go swimming or to a sauna 
( this includes the river and beach)
DON'T pick at it, its going to itch thats a FACT
just pat it.

Once your tattoo is all healed remember if it is in an 
area which will be in the sun alot apply sunblock!
