It is customary that on pinpointing the address of an outside board that a roleplayer will attack on sight.

This applies to all roleplayers that use battle characters, or characters designed or equiped for battle. (often excluding loonies and the like)

On locating an outside board, you are presented the option of making friendly gestures, however it is not looked upon as in error if you decide that you would like to issue a challenge.

There are general rules that are accepted among roleplayers. Death is a common occurance during an attack. However, it is considered highly skilled if the roleplayer can instill the image of being willing to kill while at the same time keeping PC deaths to a minimum. This is achieved at times by killing off a prominent NPC, harming characters, or displaying great skill in verbally instilling the prestige.
