MY QUAKE LEVELS

Yes, it's true, I've turned my hand to making levels for Quake - the world's best multiplayer game (possibly). By my own admission I'm not very good, as I usually get a bit bored somewhere near the completion of a level and never bother to put in all those fine details that make a really great map. Still, here's a list of what I've made, and also a couple by one of my mates, who uses this site to allow people to get their hands on his "stuff".

Right Here, Right Now! - My first released effort. I quite liked it, even if the map reviewers didn't. It's a small map in a Mayan theme, made up of a few big rooms. With a fairly large number of players you can have some top laughs with this.

RHRN Version 2 - An updated version of RHRN that I've been playing around with. Nothing stuningly new, just a large number of tweaks to improve gameplay. I'll put it here when it's finished.

Nothin' Personal - Hmmm. My second map, which was pants, to be honest. Bland to look at, and flatly lit, there's only one decent room in the whole thing, and even that isn't as "finished" as it should be. Oh well.

Would You? Um ... - My map whose name I can never get right. It's three three-level rooms, linked together all over the place, and I think it's great. Top notch with loads of players or just a few, and some nifty ideas. Have a go, it's worth it.

And these are my mate's maps:

God Damn It! - I was never too keen on the texturing of this map (it always seemed too mixed-and-match), but the design's pretty cool, with some nice lighting effects. This was his first released map.

Battle Flag - I really liked this map, even though it can be really confusing to find your way around at times. It's basically a cross-shaped arangement of rooms, with some teleporter tricks thrown in for good measure. Nicely decorated too.
