And now, a little bit about Alexa of Alexalou...

My name's Ainsley, and I am currently studying philosophy and Classical Greek at Queen's University in sunny Kingston, Ontario (all right, it may be sunny right now, but generally it's cold enough that my hair freezes and I find myself unable to breathe...). I, like Deborah, more or less fell into these areas of study after I realized that it was not humanly possible to do a quadruple, or even a triple major. The quality of the educational system these days is just appalling.

In my spare time, I enjoy sketching, bellydancing, writing, learning new languages, folding origami, public speaking, and planning my eventual global takeover. When I'm not in Kingston, I can be found at home in tropical St.John's, Newfoundland, making up for lost time with my other other half, Andrew, with whom I shall shortly be undertaking the great Canadian railway trip (from Kingston to Edmonton, then all the way back to Halifax)!

Me dressed as Neil Gaiman's death for Hallowe'en

"What is this?" said he, when he came out into the sunshine. "I have no shadow! So it really went away yesterday evening and did not come back: that's very tiresome."
          - from The Shadow by Hans Christian Andersen
