Well, not much to report here on the Jones home front. Basically all I have been doing lately is studying, homework, labs, and missing my girlfriend. I got 3 quizzes over the next 2 days so that is going to suck, except that I think I know basically how to do everything that will be on 2/3 the quizzes. Valentines Day has never really meant anything special to me before, I guess cause I never really put much effort into makin it something special. I actually can't even remember what I did for my ex-girlfriend (the only ex-girlfriend that I ever dated over Valentines Day). But this year I am putting in an effort to make it something special and I think know that my girlfriend is doing the same. Aaron said that his acceptance/decline letter is coming from A&M sometime soon, so everyone should wish him good luck. I was looking in my bank account today and realized that I NEED money, so hopefully Pops (aka my dad) can hook me up with a fat tax return this year. For all of you wondering why I don't do my own taxes, he is a CPA (Certified Public Accountant), so I think he is a little more qualified to do them than I am. Anyways, Im out, study time

Ok people, Im trying to get back into things including writing in my journal, I want to redo a bunch of stuff on the webpage, or something that incorporates webpages that I find interesting. This semester so far hasn't been too bad, although the work is starting to pile up and my professors dont seem to be as willing to offer help this semester. As far as the break went, I had a good break, worked the BR (for all of you not familiar with that acronym it stands for Banana Republic), and stocked up on pimp gear. The most recent news include the job search for the summer, Paul and I attended the Engineering career fair, and talked to a bunch of companies but have failed to hear anything back from them. The biggest lead though was from my attendance to the Nortel Informational meeting, and talking with the reps after the meeting led me to getting one of the guys emails, and I have talked to him and he said he is going to review my resume and offer me any suggestions. It just sucks because he is stationed in Irvine CA, and is relocating to Paris in a couple weeks, so that sucks that he isnt at the Richardson facility. Its crazy how you can live with someone and never see them, I am talking about my roommate Chaka, to tell you the truth I never see the guy and it sucks, anyways I know he is doing things that he enjoys (fish camp, one army and hospitality), hopefully he can keep up with his school work and get into the ID (industrial distribution) department when he wants to, anyways Im out, too tired, talk to you guys lata and keep checkin back, cause Im going to keep updating the log and webpage more often now.

Well, after yet another day of studying I think Im going to call it an early night, and get up real early like I did think morning (5:15 am) to continue my studying, I am real poo brained right now. Chaka made vast improvements on his section of the apartment 424 webpage, I was pretty impressed myself for someone who doesnt do much html/web work that he put it all together in a relatively short period. Man I can't wait til next week when all these exams are going to be done, god so relaxing... Tomorrow basically looks to be the same as the past three days... more studying, this its real important as I will probably have my 2 hardest tests back to back on Monday morning, both my EE classes. I have a 248 review tomorrow at 1, hopefully Trinka (my prof, who really rocks) will give us a pretty good idea of what EXACTLY to study to do well on the final, so I can mostly concentrate on 214, definately my hardest course this semester. Well people, time to go to bed... be back lata

This journal entry is dedicated to Stu, who made me decide to write one... lets just call today another day of studying, from when I got up at 9 til right now, which is 11:55 according to my clock, I have been studying. I had a 214 review tonight, which basically left me more clueless than before, I seriously think she is taught new material tonight... I will probably be up until Gordo leaves to go on the paper route, but maybe, will come to the reasoning that more sleep will help my brain rest and will learn better if I get up early in the morning, but I dont know, I am still learning new material right now, kinda scary isnt it....that I am teaching myself (since I can't really pay attention to my prof) material that is going to be on my course final, the night before the final... I guess Im screwed if I am learning it the wrong way...oh well, back to studying
