Another of my favorite art forms is the scratchboard. This is done by painting a specially treated piece of cardboard with india ink…then using a scratch pen to scrape the ink off.

The scratchboards are generally done free-hand. The stark contrast of the black india ink against the bright white scratchboard makes for a very attractive and striking finished product.
