1796-Jan 6, 1881), who was 72 and kept house according to the 1870 
census.  Both were b. Wurtemberg.  Geo's personal estate was valued 
at 800.  They resided in Chatfield Twp.   According to the 1860 census,
 Geo was 67 (occupation illegible) and Dorothea 64, lived with Louisa
 5 who attended school in 1860.  Louisa's birthplace is illegible.
    2. John George (July 20, 1820-Sep 5, 1903), farmer at 49 yrs, m. 1st
    Catherine  Sherer (Nov 24, 1804-Aug 27, 1868).  John Geo was b.
    Wurtemberg.  In the 1860 census, in Whetstone Twp, Crawford Co., OH,
    George is listed as 58 yrs (I think ?? maybe 38) and Catherine is 55; they
    live with Samuel 12, and Jacob 14, who both attended school in 1860. 
    Geo was a farmer; his real estate was valued at 8800, and his personal
    estate at 1000.

        Margaret Elizabeth Rexroth (Aug 26, 1848-Feb 28, 1930) d/o Nicholas

    Sep 28, 1869 in Crawford Co, OH.  Katherine Gaibler b. Wurttemberg, 
    Germany.  According to the  1870 census, Kath.  was 24 and kept house.

    In 1870, they are listed as living with 2 sons (presumably to his first wife)

    Alwersback, O.B. Koenigrich, Wurttemberg, Germany.  In both 1860 and
    '70 censuses, the Andrew Kurtz family is listed as living next to George 
    and Dorothea's house in Chatfield Twp.  In the 1860 census, Andrew's
    real estate equaled 1800; his personal estate equaled 600.  He lived 
    with Catherine, age 32, and Samuel, Esther, John, Solomon, and Frdrk.
