Fuzzy, Furry Little Animals!

I love cute little animals--this explains a lot about why I am a vegetarian. I don't feel that it is right for us to live off of the flesh of an innocent animal, no matter what they were bred for. (Plus, most meat just tastes bad!) I know that this is not everyone's opinion, but I strongly believe in not eating or wearing animals (so stop picking on me--you know who you are!).

On a lighter note, this page contains links to some vegetarian pages, as well as links to pages about some of my favorite animals. Some are direct links to other sites, others are links to my pages (which are compilations of links to particular animals.) Enjoy!

Here are some animal links:

Caribou and Panda Bears are two of the most adorable animals. Read more about them!

Check out my cat page for links to neat cat pages, as well as pictures of my own kitties!

I absolutely love the 101 Dalmatians. The link for them on Disney's Web Site no longer works, so I will have to try to find a new page about them soon!

Here's a page all about an evil mantis named Zorak. (Zorak is from Space Ghost in case you didn't know.)

I really want to get some fish. Aquazone lets you care for an aquarium right from your computer! (my fish just laid eggs!)

Vegetarian Stuff:

Visit the Vegetarian Pages for just about anything you could want to know about vegetarianism.

The Animal Rights Resource Site is a good source of info about animal rights.

Visit Envirolink for all stuff earthy and environmental.

Read the Vegetarian Fact Sheet by the National Center for Nutrition and Dietetics.

Veggies Unite! promises to be "Your Online Guide to Vegetarianism."

The official Gardenburger website! Gardenburgers are one of a vegetarian's best friends in this almost exclusively carnivorous world.

This is a hilarious vegetarian comic that I cut out of the Sunday comic section one day. (I can't remember which comic it is though--if you know, please email me!)

Newsgroup links:

talk.politics.animals. Not everything on this group applies to the topic, but if you can sift through the garbage, there is some good stuff.

rec.food.veg. This one is about all kinds of information about vegetarianism.

rec.food.veg.cooking. You can get some pretty good recipes from here (lots of fat-free/low-fat recipes too!)
