Our hostess, Miss Beryl Sheep...

Miss Sheep, was someone with whom, you could say I was well acquainted.  She and I knew each other from before this voyage.  It was a pleasant surprise to see her again, after all these years.  She hadn't really changed much.

Still very much the live-wire of any party.  Still the most excellent hostess...

Turns out in the course of the evening that she has still not lost her penchant for stealing that which caught her fancy.

She was also the most able of cooks...after having been at sea for so long, the dinner which she prepared was just what was necessary to rekindle memories of home.  We had roast chicken, carrots, potatoes, mint sauce, beans, Yorkshire pudding...

Many a grateful thanks for a lovely evening.
