"I don't do everything with every friend: there are things I would do or share with one, but not another"

This grew out of the observation on my part from the fact that I could talk about faith with Khin Wee, but not Wai Kin. Could talk about girls with Yen, but not Kin….

In all the years since enunciating the above, I have yet to meet a friend who disproves this principle. Having said that, Colin comes close ~ we've spoken and shared nearly every thing. Not all - but close!

Since writing the last paragraph, I begin to wonder how true the above if, for I think Colin and I have spoken on everything now. So have Wai Kin and I. But it has taken Kin and I years to reach this stage. And Cols and I? Well… I suspect it's his drive for openness that has driven us to talk freely about things. I think it has worked both ways, for I don't think he ever suspected that he would one day be talking to anyone about some of the things we have spoken about.

However, this rule still hold true I think for many, so I'll keep it!
