        mIRC is my preferred chat program! If you're new to chatlines, or even if you're not, mIRC (in my opinion) is the way to go. It's cheep (FREE), fast, easy to use.. and a lot of fun! When you use this program you connect to IRC (International Relay Chat) and chat with people all across the world!
        I have some friends who are loyal pIRCh users (yea it's a big contraversy online) but i've found pIRCh to not be my type of program. A bit more difficult (depending on what you're used to I suppose) but still does it's job! Using this program, you also connect to IRC (International Relay Chat) so you'll still be talking to people who use mIRC and pIRCh.
        A microsoft chat program with little virtual people. Not a program you'd use normally to chat with.. it's pretty confusing to use, or know who you're talking to but it's cute to try every once in a while.
        With CU-SeeMe Video Chat Software you can make a chat more personal by actually seing who you're talking to. I've never tried this one but know some people who do and who seem to like it.
        ICQ allerts you as soon as a friend on your list comes online. Chat, page or leave mini-emails easily and promptly!
