The Computer Software & System Operator Program offers two individual courses that include: Business/Office Computer Specialist, and Business Graphics Specialist (PC).
Business/Office Computer Specialist:
Graduates may find employment in a wide range of businesses that require computer support by an employee trained in the various aspects of Information Technology.
This course offers subjects including:
Communications, Computer Software and Hardware, Computer Networks, Keyboarding, Diagnostic Software, Information Systems, Integrated Office Suite, Software Utilities, Web Page Design, Academic Success, Job Search Techniques,
and a two week period of workplace training.
The world of technology awaits you! There is incrasing need for professionals trained to assist with networking, web site development and maintenance, hardware and software diagnostics, training and troubleshooting using programs including MS Word, MS Access and MS Excel.
Business Graphics Specialist:
Entry level openings may be available throught private and public sectors that produce any type of print material, flyers, sales promotional literature, manuals, reports, newsletters, charts, correspondence and other, on a PC platform.
This course offers subjects including:
Communications, Business Graphics Portfolio, Business Presentations, Computer Hardware and Software, Keyboarding, Desktop Publishing, Graphics Software and Design, Word Processing, Academic Success, Job Search Techniques,
and a two week period of workplace training.
The Business Graphics Specialist (PC) takes your creative energies and applies them to the computer. You will learn to design effective, results-driven and creative logos, advertisements, brochures and other media-related materials, using both Corel Draw and Adobe Photoshop software.
