The Page About... ME

So here goes... My name is Aart Gieske and I'm 16 years old and turning 17 in September. (When I get access to a scanner I will put a pic of myself on this page). I live in Gaborone, Botswana and I go to Maru a Pula secondary school. I came here in '83 from Holland when I was 2 years old and I'm still here :( I can tell you that living here for more than 1 year is a total and absolute draggggg.... Actually it's ok here and even though I'm bored out of my skull I still have the net :) and my music and hobbies :) plus I can go elsewhere during the holidays (since the family gets a free ticket to Holland and back every year) or I can go to the middle of nowhere and get charged by buffalos and elephants, etc.
    There are five people in my family: me, my mom (Hi Mom! (just in case you are reading this)), my dad, and my two brothers (one is here and the other is studying maths in Delft, Holland). My mom is a linguist and my dad is a hydrogeologist and my brothers are a pain in the ass(just kidding).
    What else is there? Hmmm... My favourite food is pasta... I love roleplaying games. The best book in the world is Marion Bradley's "The Mists of Avalon". My favourite drink is either Hunter's Gold or Amarula, but I haven't made up my mind yet which is better. I love Star Trek and Star Wars, but the best SF will always be the HitchHikers Guide to the Galaxy.
