Women's Voices
Poetry
You said "if I believed in those things I'd say that woman has a
halo"
I said "yeah she's really blonde"
Then I go out to join the others
I am the others
And that's not easy
I don't know what you saw
I need somebody who sees me
I will not be afraid of women.

A Brief Note
This section is devoted to Women's Voices. Please feel free to submit
your poetry as well as any other writing. I think it's really important
for every woman to have a voice. Please indicate in your e-mail whether
you want your real name to be used and that I have permission to post your
poem. Also, please only submit things that YOU have written. Let your
voice be heard!

Sticks and stones
did break my bones
and how your words once hurt me
But now that i am stronger
and fear you no longer
your words fall hard on deaf ears
You thought you were strong
but you never knew
how strong I am, much more so than you
The past is gone
that chapter closed
the book is far from over
