Unfortunately, I don't think the kitties have a chance.

Thought I'd make some people smile with that one...

To give a short scope on what this whole Dot.Com thing is about...

Dot.Com is a small site dedicated to the randomness that originates from the gray mush of some guy that lives somewhere. More specifically, it's all about what I want it to be.

It all started with a simple web site that I wanted to dedicate to my favorite game at the time, Command and Conquer. The way I decided to make my contribution to this foundation of great RTS games was an uploaded image of a Flame tank, followed by random crap that I cannot recall at the moment. From there, the "site" became "The Net," which was a large stepping stone into real website design. Despite the gay name and more nothings I added to it, I have to give thanks to that wonderful idea of revamping the thing to get it to become what it was: a base for another metamorphasis, this time to be titled Dragonfire.net. After several years of a lack of content and inactivity, it has finally molded itself to what you see today: Dot.Com. Reasoning behind the name: I figured there were enough Dot.Com's out there, so why not add another one just in spite?

Anyway, welcome to the site. I hope you like the neat little layout this site provides... otherwise I can't promise too much since I still don't have a real purpose for its existence. Oh well. Enjoy!

As always, tweaking here, fixing there.

Revamped the code so the darn text color changer would work. Updated my journal... plus the navigational bar; that way I got rid of that cumbersome Featured Sections link. I don't know why I had it that way in the first place...

Put up new links, too.

Guess that's it... I'll work on it more from time to time. Toodles! -- Ray

I haven't had a lot of time to find another provider... plus it's hard as hell to find a free provider without any friggin' ads! Oh well...

Just wanted to let people know that I have stepped into the dark side of web design and started a MySpace account. (!) It is an awesome way to keep in touch with peeps, though...

If you would like, check it out!

I have no idea how much time I've spent on the stupid text color changer... but it finally works! OMG... it finally works! *falls to knees, weeps with joy* The one thing that I can't get going is the real-time change as for some reason IE doesn't recognize the opener object in Javascript. Any tech-savvy people know why?

I've been on MySpace for a bit, so I apologize (again) for the lack of anything at all. But for what there is, I hope you enjoy it! Ta-ta... -- Ray

Geocities must die... The stupid ad scripts that they include on every page is not only annoying, but is also causing all of my code to go to waste as it comes up as an error. As a result I have had to butcher it up to make this somewhat viewable... however, I am on the search for a more suitable web space provider. Until then... -- Ray

Yay! Happy birthday to me! So far, my parents remembered... I almost forgot myself! Stupid work... Anyway, just more updates on my puny Halo deal and some changes to dedications. I need more material to work on! -- Ray

Just added a small little sub-site dedicated to Halo 2, one of my current obsessions. I know it's not exactly spectacular, but hey, it's hard to reiterate what millions of others have said in a new and creative way! :)

Plus, you may have seen the splash of humor I've added to each individual site feature. Yay. See ya. -- Ray

The birthdate of Dot.Com, otherwise known as http://www.oocities.org/ray_dragonfire/. I need to get a domain name...

Still don't have a clue as to what I want to get done with this thing, but I'm just going to splash some randomness with what I've got here and see what happens. Back to work... ta-ta! -- Ray

Next Prospective Update: Maybe sometime next week, next month, next year... who knows?
