Me, more than you probably ever wanted to know......
......but anyway, here it is:

Anand, one of my friends, sent me a bunch of questions to answer. He has also answered them and wanted my replies to the same. After finishing it, I thought, geez, you know how it is on Chat, you get a zillion questions, so I had a brainstorm (unusual for a blonde, but anyway) I thought to add it here. So bear with me, I did not write the questions, I only answered them.........honestly.......so here goes........enjoy.........

>Full Name: My real one? Or the one I tell everybody it is?? hehe.....

>Nicknames: I am called many things, have several nicknames, but
have used different chat names like: Sim, Anamika, Manisha, NightBird, ....
and then AngelEyes and IvoryRose...

>Meaning of the name:
I have no idea what my name means, I was named after my Aunt, I guess.
UPDATE !! I have since learned that my name means "pure". Not bad, not bad at all. :)
Now I have a new name, Anusha. And prefer it 100%

>Birth date:
Momma always said, there are two things you don't ask a lady, her age or her weight, so on these grounds, I plead the lady thing. But I will give you the month and day, it's May 24th.

>Zodiac Sign: Gemini
>Hair Color: Blonde
>Eye Color: Blue
>Height: 5'3"

>Personality Type:
Ummm, that's a hard thing to answer about yourself, so I will try, I guess I am easy going, get along with a wide variety of people because I accept them as they are, have been alone most of my life--so somewhat individualistic, but nothing out of the ordinary. Just a girl. :)

>Location: Tennessee, USA
Singapore.
>School: Happy Valley High School (it sounds more like a funny house than a high school name) and then I went on to Northeast State. I wish I could have gone on for MBA, but with no parents or money, I had to go to work, or starve. And then after working, there is no time for school.

>Future Schools: Ummm, that's still in future somewhere, unless I win the lottery or some distant rich relative I have never seen or known about dies and leaves me a legacy.
>Name Of college: ?????

>Pets and their names: Poodle=Misty (24 Jan 1986) and Bird=Chippy (30 Oct 1991). They are my "children".

>Brothers Or Sisters: None, NO FAMILY

>Hobbies: Collecting (obviously-from my webpage), movies (have personal collection of over 3000+ titles), music (adore it, wish with all my heart I could play piano), my friends, my computer and of course, THE NET (sufficiently addicted).

>Things you like to do: I agree, I am totally spontaneous, I have always said I want to experience all life has to give, cause it is too short to miss anything.

>Best Advice Ever Given: Given to me, or by me?? Given to me: my grandmother once told me, that beauty was not just on the outside, that you also had to be beautiful on the inside for it to truly last forever. I have never forgotten that. And I always look for the beauty inside of anyone I meet, and love them for who they are. It works. Given by me: I once had someone ask me my opinion on a very very important thing, I told her to look inside herself, in her heart for the answer, and she would find it there, because the heart cannot lie. She must have followed my advice, she married him, and they have two lovely children and are very happy. :) I felt good about that. And I have always remembered that advice is as hard to take as it is to give. So I always give it from my heart and with love.

>Words or phrases you overuse: "Oh good grief" and "Thanks alot".
And some of my friends think I say "ok" too much.

>A non-sport game which you enjoy: Non-sport?? Well, I guess my nonsport game would be computer games. :)

>Coolest experience in life: Falling in love. Love is just as much inside yourself and it is anywhere else. It's also how it makes you feel and how you experience life differently. Without love I feel there is nothing...but empty existence.

>What you want to be: Someone asked me this once, what did I want out of life. And I will give the same answer now: To be loved and happy. The two things that money cannot buy. But the two most important facets of life.

>Favorite thing to do in Summer: Stay in the A/C. I am very hot natured and it drives me nuts to get hot. But weather permitting, I love exploring, especially the mountains. I am content for hours to study the leaf pattern of a fern. I hope always to never let simple things escape me.

>Favorite thing to do in Fall: I like fall because it is a mild season, no longer hot, but not cold yet. I love the leaves changing. I lived on a hill facing another hill in Tennessee, and the view of the trees changing color was awesome. The house also faces the sunrise, so it adds to its beauty in early morning.

>Favorite thing to do in Winter: I love winter, because it is not hot. I love the cold crisp air. I am in my element in winter. I love snow, as long as I don't have to drive in it.

>Special skills or talents: Skills? Talents? Well, I love to write. Stories, poems, feelings. Perhaps I try to express who I am inside.

>Character traits you most look for in a guy/girl: Umm, I guess I look for someone who is comfortable being themselves. I like outgoing people, people who smile, I just like people in general.
UPDATE !! Well, now that I have had time to think about what I looked for in a guy, I have decided that, in particular, I looked for someone that I know I will spend the rest of my life with. Knowing that I will love him just as much at the end of forever, as I do now. Know that the special feeling of falling in love will last, and deepen into that bond that endures time and anything life has to throw at it and still be in love. To see inside his eyes and know that I have found my soulmate.

>Things you collect: I have a passion for antique glass. I have an extensive collection of it. I love the feel of the smoothness of the glass, the different colors it comes in, and the way the light plays thru it. And just for fun, I collect elephants. I love something so huge, but has the potential to be so gentle.

>Favorite music: I love Mariah Carey. And all love songs, soft sweet and slow. And anything that is good. But I do not care a bit for country music, it just does not appeal to me.

>Favorite Color: Red (especially burgundy) and purple.

>Favorite Food: Spaghetti, pizza, and anything Indian, Mexican or spicy.

>Least Favorite Food: Avocados, eggplant, blue cheese dressing, anchovies, grapefruit and country ham.

>Favorite Animal: All of them.

>Favorite Thing to Wear: Ummmm, clothes....hehe
>Favorite Vacationing Spot: What vacation??
>Favorite Sport to play: I am a idiot when it comes to sports. Forgive me.
>Favorite Sport to watch: None.
>Favorite Toy: My computer, and the remote control to my cd changer.
>Favorite Subject: Anything new. Anything that I did not know yesterday, or five minutes before.

>Favorite Book:Sonnets from the Portuguese by Elizabeth Barrett Browning.
>Favorite Cartoon: Scooby Doo, Sylvester and Tweety, Tom and Jerry, and Ren and Stimpy. Cow and Chicken and Two Stupid Dogs.

>Favorite Movie: Excalibur, anything with Meg Ryan, Nick Nolte, Cary Grant or Irene Dunn. All the James Bond movies, especially the ones with Sean Connery, and Pierce Brosnan. and zillions more, this to name just a few...and of course, first and foremost.....TITANIC.
UPDATE! I have also seen City of Angels. I love it, as much as Titanic. I would die to be loved like that.
And I also love the movies Fools Rush In and You've Got Mail

>Favorite Actor: Nick Nolte, Cary Grant, Sean Connery, David Niven...
>Favorite Actress: Meg Ryan, Lucille Ball, Irene Dunn, and Ginger Rogers, just to name a few.
>Favorite TV Show: The Pretender, X-Files, Grace Under Fire, Dharma and Greg, Farscape, Total Recall and Drew Carey show....
>Favorite Day: Ummmm, any day that I don't have to work...
>Favorite Month: May

>Favorite Holiday Holidays are just another day, unless I get the day off from work, then it's a good holiday...

>Favorite Store: Dale Laughters, now that you have found me, and spoke to me - Leave me alone!
E-mail me: anusha_sathe@yahoo.com.
To answer the question for everyone else, undoubtedly, Walmart and anywhere fun - but isn't shopping always fun, no matter where you do it.

>Favorite Musician: ummm, don't know if I have a favorite or not, because I love all music, except country....

>Favorite Line: "Passion remakes the world...It makes all things alive and significant." "Not even poets have measured how much love a heart can hold." "Love is a soul aflame with a godlike passion." "O, there is nothing holier, in this life of ours, than the first consciousness of love--the first fluttering of its silken wings." "Do not live without me--let us share the joys. We are word and meaning, united; you are thought and I am sound." "Love is a portion of the soul itself, and it is of the same nature as the celestial breathing of the atmosphere of paradise." "To love, and love well, is like stealing into heaven." "Love is time and space, measured by the heart."
"Love is a symbol of eternity. It wipes out all sense of time, destroying all memory of a beginning and all fear of an end." And last but not least: "Always and forever. Always has no beginning, forever has no end. Eternity and infinity, and beyond."

Whoops, did you say "line".....oh well, couldn't make up my mind which one. :) So I put them all.

>Would you rather be deaf or blind? That is a hard choice. You lose so much with either one. If I had to make a choice, it would be deaf, I suppose, but it would be sad to never hear all the lovely sounds again.....but at least I would not walk into a hole.

>If you found out your best friend was gay/lesbian, what would you do? Oh my, now that is one heck of a question. I have no idea. It would depend on how best of a best friend they were, and how they got to be my best friend without me finding out they were gay beforehand.

>Do you consider yourself a good listener? Well, yes, I try to be. And I enjoy hearing other people talk. You can learn so much from listening.

>Would you rather be short or tall? Short is good if you are a girl. I'd like to be about 2 inches shorter than I am now.

>Would you rather be happy and poor or over wealthy and unhappy?
Wealth is worth nothing, if you are not happy.

>Would you consider your relationship with your parents bad, okay, good, or awesome? Parents are deceased.

>Do you like to dance? Yes, if I can find someone to dance with. But it has been a very very long time.
>Are you too shy to ask someone out? No, not really. At least I don't think so. But perhaps my honey would object to that.

>Do you talk on the phone? Oh yes, I love to hear my friends voices. Keeps me in touch with them and what is happening with them.

>Would you rather take a walk or watch TV? I very seldom watch tv, unless it's a movie. As for walks, I used to take long walks, but have gotten out of the habit.
Now that it is major mode of my transportation, I guess I will be getting back into the knack of it.

>What is your dream honeymoon place? Hawaii
OR Sentosa
UPDATE !! On honeymoon place, it is not important, the important thing is to have a honeymoon, and with someone that you love more than anything in life, including yourself. Then it does not matter where you are, anywhere is paradise. But of course, IF you just happened to be in Hawaii, then, well, who'd complain about that? :)
And then, Paris is a good idea too. Or a romantic cruise, where you never have to even leave the ship, or your cabin, for that matter. :)

>Who do you think has it worse, guys or girls?
That is a good question, I guess girls will always say girls have it worse, and guys probably will always answer guys do. Being a girl, I would have to say that when the first guy has a baby, then he can truly say he has it worse than a girl.

>If you had a round trip in a time machine, where would you go? Ummm, to the court of King Arthur, to see if there really was a Merlin and an Excalibur...hehe.

>If you could be invisible for one day, what would you do?
Geez, only for one day.....ummmm, can we bargain for a week??

>Do you like Adidas, Nike, Fila, or Reebok? Does it really matter?? A tennis shoe is just a tennis shoe, some leather glued to some rubber with some laces and stuff.

>If you could change your name, what would it be? Something different and interesting, that no one would forget, ever.
UPDATE !! Something wonderfully pretty, like ANUSHA.

>Have you ever thought you were gonna die? Yes, ...well, let's not got into details, I haven't had dinner yet. :)

>What is the hardest thing about growing up? Well, I have decided that I will never grow up. I'll always be a kid in a funny looking body...
...but to be serious, I would have to say, burying both of my parents, was the hardest thing about growing up. Forced me to grow up very quickly...alone.

>What's the most exciting thing you've ever done on a dare? A dare? Me? Accept a dare? You gotta be kidding. I am the one who gives the dare....hehe

>Have you ever gone skinny dipping? Oh yes, many times. It's awesome. But that too was a long long time ago.

>Would you eat a bowl of live crickets for $40,000?
No, I would not....live or dead, I am not eating any bug...for $40K or $40mil, NO NO NO.

>If this Saturday, you could do anything you wanted, what would you do?
Go to Disneyland......ehh...could we make it Sunday too??

>Have you ever wanted to run away? Yes. Many times. But where can you go to get away from everything? The problem will still be there and you will still have to deal with it sooner or later. Best to face it, get it over with and go on. Do what you have to do. And I have faced that many times, first hand. And survived.

>What's your worst fear? Spiders....I hate bugs. And heights.

>Do you sleep with stuffed animals? Oh yes, there are tons of them across my headboard in Tennessee, I have everything from bears to elephants, snoring ones, some that play music, talk. When I was in the hospital so long with my last car accident, someone gave me a red silk teddy bear, and I slept with it every night.

>Have you ever felt you were in love? Oh yes. Absolutely. Am, are, will always be.

>If you were stranded on a desert island with one single person, who would it be? My best friend in the world, the first person to love me for who I was, no limits, ADA. She was killed in a fatal car accident. But she is always with me, in my heart and in my memories. And the crazy thing about it was she never really thought that I loved her. But she was the best friend anybody could ever have or hope for. She will never be replaced. She has a place all her own. And it's the only gravesite I visited regularly. And for as long as she has been gone, I still cry every time I think of her. And her picture (with her grandson, Eric, who is also deceased) is beside my computer (and on her webpage here, if you click her name above). If angels ever walked on the earth, then I met one with her.
And the reason I give Ada first is because if I were stranded on a desert island with her, it would mean she was still alive. And that would be wonderful.

Well, that's all the questions. Thanks for bearing with it. :) I actually had fun answering them.
