Indie Windie Walker's Sad But True Life Story
My name is Miranda and I was born on the 8th of June in 1982, the year Prince William (totty!) was born, England played in the World Cup in Spain and the Falklands War started and finished. I was born in the London Borough of CROYDON (!!!) and unfortunately was brought up with the burden of the older brother known to my Mum as Cecil a.k.a. Devil Incarnate. I have lived in South Norwood all my life (so far) and I can tell you, South Norwood is soooooooo boring! The only remotely good thing that happens in South Norwood is that some idiot bus driver tries to go under a low bridge. TV was dawned onto me at an early age, my Dad was on night-duty at a hospital and 'looked' after me during the day as my Mum went to work, i.e. he would plunk me in front of the telly. At the tender age of three, I started at Crosfield Nursery School. At four, I started South Norwood Primary School, the dullest school ever, apart from the fact that the whole school knew that one of the male teachers was having an affair with one of the other teachers. That school, while I was there (seven long years) never got mentioned in the local or national papers or anything. At South Norwood, I belonged to the girls' football team, which shoved out the boys' football team to dust. I played in midfield, but unfortunately, scored no goals. I did manage to hit the crossbar (wow-wee!) and set up goals for my team-mates. Our school had one problem; we didn't have any grass, just concrete. Imagine doing a sliding tackle, ouch! I was also a goalie for a tournament and I let in no goals (of course!). That school gives me nothing but unhappy memories. Each year became a living nightmare, but, as they say, that's water under the bridge. I used to go to Virgo Fidelis Senior School, which is Grant Maintained. It's okay, if you like that sort of thing, but I left, which says it all about the school, and now I go to St. Francis Xavier Six-Form College in Clapham, which is such a laugh, but none of the boys there in my opinion are nice looking. I also work at Sainbury's as a Provisions Assistant, which is just a shelf stcker in a nice fluffy title. The jobs tiring but the staff are a laugh like all the guys in Provisions andthe Management, and we get the food dead cheap! *lol*.
Anyway, I'm 5"41/2', 'normal' build, brown eyes, horrible hair, size seven shoes and I sometimes wear glasses. I'm into indie bands in a big way (hence the nickname) and I support TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR!!! COME ON YOU SPURS (PLEASE???). I used to have a cat called Sebastian but he died on Friday 24th October '97 from kidney failure (He was run over firstly) but now I have two cats called Sooty and Wallace. I have a French exchange student-friend called Emilie (Bonjour!) who stayed over in late June '97 and stayed for a week. Fortunately, she liked both football and Oasis, and we had a lot to talk about. My mates either support Man United (now there's a surprise), Arse-enal, Newcastle (just the one - Hi Monica!) or hate football altogether. I adore television. I fancy Gary Lineker (I have done since I was about 8 or 9 years old), Ian Walker, David Ginola, David James, a doctor that was at the place I did my work experience (His name was Cory) and others that I cannot be bothered to mention.
That's all for now, for the best is yet to come...
