THE
GREAT CIRCLE OF BORDOM
Thought up by Natalie Bottle and Chris Noakes (aka Artemis and Charm)
Ever had a really boring day, and anything you do makes it more boring? Well, in fact, if you have one of these days, try to think of a cure to get rid of your bordom, don't do anything but think, or talk about it with another person.
The Cure to bordom, so we have found, is in fact, thinking about the cure to bordom. So, you say, what is the point of thinking about one if you know what the cure is already? But, if you didn't think about trying to think of a cure, you would be bored, and, in effect, would have to think of a cure anyway because you would be bored if you didn't. But, what happens when you do think of a cure? Well, because there is only one cure, it couldn't be the real cure anyway, so you would go and try your so-called cure, and it wouldn't work, because the only true cure for bordom, is thinking of a cure. So, after your cure not working, you would go back to thinking about another cure, because you would be bored otherwise, and so, great circle of bordom starts! The End Copywright Natalie Bottle and Chris Noakes, '98
