=[ME CLOSE UP IN SEPIA TONE]= =[ME AND MY DOG CLOSE UP]= My name is Natalie Bottle, I'm female and 17 years old. I've just finished grade 12 (nov. '99).I do plan to go to University, but next year I'm taking the year off school to work and travel if I get the money. And to hopefully get some motivation to go to Uni. I'll probably end up doing Geomatics (formally known as Earth Sciences), which is basically for surveying and something else i can't remember *L* I basically want to do this for a few reasons: 1. I really like science. 2. As strange as it sounds, I like rocks. 3. There is work for it. 4. Fairly good money *L* I live in Tasmania, which is a south-eastern island state of Australia. It is home of the Tasmanian Devil (spelt with a S, not a Z, notice. Not like the cartoon) and many other species of wild life found in Australia, although we don't have the Koala, and have only one species of Kangaroo here that I know of (the forester kangaroo). We mostly have wallabies here (smaller versions of the kangaroo). If you want to know more, see my sister's page on it here, or search for it. I live about 5 mins walk from the beach, which i don't visit that often, but about the only thing i like about the place i live at is the great view of the beach and ocean. I really like to read and write, although only one at a time because if I read while I'm writting stuff it tends to influance my style of writting and so I'd just end up with a story written in all kinds of styles. I like to both read and write fantasy-medieval type stuff with magic and swords etc. At the moment I'm writting a pretty cool one with John, someone (*Laughs*) I know on the net. The plot looks to be really good, and what we've written of it so far is pretty good (although I tend to think what he's written is better than what i have). I like listening to music and also play the piano and tenor saxophone (but not very well). I have my own tenor sax called Lance, which is a long story and personal joke between me and my old friend Clay, whom I haven't seen or talked to in a long time because I moved. For music to listen to I'm pretty loose. I really like Silverchair, Powderfinger, Killing Heidi and various other Australian bands (of whom those three named i recently saw, it was awesome), Pearl Jam, U2, Garbage, The Doors, Korn (although not much of theirs I really like, only a few songs), *laughs* and funnily enough, Disney soundtracks. I also like other soundtrack music (I think half my CD collection is soundtracks *laughs*) like The Matrix, Hackers, Cruel Intentions (can't think of anymore at the moment). I'm more of a scientific and maths person, or at least I think I am. I did a quiz for a psycology student last year and it had all these trick questions, such as: An electric train is travelling at 60 km/hr in a direction of North-West. The wind is blowing from the east in a westerly direction with a speed of 35km/hr. What direction does the smoke blow? Now, me, i took one look at the figures and started going from there (using pythagoras or whatever - those weren't the exact speeds and directions, i can't remember them), *laughs* instead of actually reading it properly like I should have. At the moment I live at home with my parents, although my dad is usually only home on weekends because he works away from home at a Hydro power station (made using the kinetic energy of water, obviously). I have two older sisters, who currently don't live at home. One is married and lives in Darwin, the northern-most capital city in Australia and has a child about two years old. My other sister was only recently married to an American who she first met in a chatroom, and then in real life. She's currently in America still but due back with her husband *laughs* in February. Ah well, that's all. Plus I truly doubt anyone could be bothered reading this load of garbage, but if you have, congradulations *L* =[ME CLOSE UP IN SEPIA TONE]= This is me in my sisters room (and yes there is a manga guy in the background, it's a poster on my sister's wall.) trying our attempt at an artistic shot.
