The Voice THE VOICE
A voice calls out my name.
The voice is not yours.
We imagined a cliff, a beautiful sunset.
I imagined holding your hand
As we passed those not like us:
Those unfortunate not to have our love.
The sun went down, redness united with blue sky,
A vision of Purple.

We sit in a sun shower.
The rain covers us, touching the ground
Like little feet dancing as they played.

A shadow passed between us,
Intent to take you my love.
A sword shimmered in my hand,
Glowing radiant white.
"I love you", my voice cried, "For everything you are."
The sword swung at the shadow.

In front of me my love sits,
Watching me dance, my dress flutter in the wind.
A voice calls my name.
I take your hands in mine.
The voice is yours my love.
