AJ Info!

This will be a club effort page, all you have to do is send any new info to our club e-mail address and we will add it to this page so other club members can be informed. It can be about the old AJ(Sean Kanan), the new AJ(Billy Warlock),or AJ the character(example:What writers have in store).

The current AJ Quartermaine is played by Billy Warlock. You all might remember him as "Eddie" on Baywatch when it first came out. He has also stared in some movies. As AJ, Billy already has a mess of problems! He is a recovering alcoholic and his so called best friend has many secrets about him! Boy does he have his work cut out for him!

Billy Warlock, believe it or not, is 37! Born on March 26, 1960, Billy has starred in movies such as Steel Sharks(96), Opposite Corners(95), Society(89), Hot Shot(86), Halloween 2(81). He also did alot of TV shows and Movies like The Menendez Murders where he played Erik Menendez in 94. From 1989-91 he was on Baywatch. Days of our Lives was the first soap opera he did. He played Frankie Brady, but now we all know him as the new AJ Quartermaine on GH. Billy was also married. He was hitched in 1987 and divorced by 88. Guess she just wasn't the one to tie him down. Any of you want the job??

Now on to Sean! Born as Sean Perelman on November 2,1960 in Cleveland, Ohio, Sean Kanan is best known to non-GH watchers as bad boy "Mike Barnes" opposite Ralph Macchio in Karate Kid part 3(89). To some of us however, He is our beloved AJ! Sean has played "AJ" on General Hospital since 1993. For reasons that we will never know the whole truth about, his roll was sadly cut short in 97. Growing up in Newcastle, Pennsylvania, Sean graduated from Mercersburg Academy(85) in Mercersburg, PA. He carried the nickname "Hollywood". Guess his friends new where he would be today! Besides the Karate Kid 3, Sean starred in Rich Girl(90), two Perry Mason movies, one of which he joined fellow co-stars Stuart Damon(Alan Q) and Genie Francis(Laura)in. His TV days include "Who's the Boss", "Wild Palms" and the tv version of "The Outsiders" in 89. He also produced and co-starred in a LA theater production of Sam Shepard's "True West".

Besides acting, Sean has alot of other interests and talents. At the age of 13 he began karate and kick-boxing training. This training lead him to the part in the Karate Kid 3. He was a political science undergraduate at UCLA, and he answered an open call for the director, John Avildsen. I personally don't think they could of picked a better person for that part! Sean also does comedy! He has been to various comedy clubs all over. He likes to travel and do some horseback riding. Of course being the single man that he is, he also has become a gourmet cook! Right now Sean lives in Beverly Hills, California. Don't need to hunt down that zip code now do we?
