I was born in Leningrad 
.(now it is Sankt-Petersburg),USSR (now it is Russia) in 1970.
My life wasn't so interesting for the History - there were some stairs of the life.
Some of them are common for my whole generation :

I finished my first year of studies, but some good friend of mine said, that Voenmekh (Baltic State Technical University) is more "warm" ... and his girlfriend had started to learn there already :-). |

5 years of University ( Baltic State Technical University (it was "Voenmekh" in the past))
I studied the Control Systems - electronics. And never worked in this field as Engineer of Electronics. :-))) |

Immigration to Israel

Control&Robotics Solutions It was my first normal job in Israel. Thanks to Ronen Boneh, Eyal Sapir and Yahali (sorry, forgot his surname). They were patient to my studies and my "russian" Hebrew. I worked there as a GUI programmer (for Win95/NT, MSVC), developed some graphics algorithms. Unfortunately this company went bankrupt. |

As a programmer I had deal with Windows NT, C++, COM, CORBA, ACE. Here were: Performance measurements, Distributed system's Control, DB control, High availability problems, RAIDs, NT drivers. |

Another job place (not for long lime -
4 months): RichFX (formerly WebGlide). It deals with creating, delivering, and viewing true-to-life content on the Internet. Their technology allows complex, highly textured, fully interactive content to be streamed to users over dial-up modem connections. Here I worked on mp3 streaming, plugins for IExplorer and Netscape. Technologies? Same stuff: Windows 2000/NT/98, C++, COM, Perl, ASP. |

December 2000. I finished my Thesises. It took too much time, I thought it won't be finished at all. So now I could say, I've learned in 3 universities and have some real education :-)) My diploma deals with searching on Internet. So I had had to learn on some reasonable level UNIX, Perl, HTML/DHTML, Java, javascript, VB. |

After I finished the University,I entered the position of Project leader for some e-banking project in E-Business division of ElronTelesoft (The E-Business Division markets and sells its applications and solutions to
corporate entities, profit-driven institutions, banks, and other financial institutions that want flexible, reliable, customer friendly, and secure e-commerce delivery networks and full branch automation systems. ELRON TELESOFT' solution has also been integrated into many commercial ) enterprises that seek secure e-commerce systems.)
But this project was closed because of "death" of the subcontractor and some of customers and life almost crashed :-). It was in the beginning of the NASDAQ's fall :-(. So I went downstairs to the coding :-). So now it is D-COM, C++ and a little bit of ASP, but huge amount of configuration work and sometimes talks with clients. |
