I
admit to being an avid Sci-Fi fan. Some have even referred to me as a "Sci-Fi
Crazy". Below are links to some of my favorite sci-fi sites. |
 |
Where it all started:1978, ABC, BATTLESTAR GALACTICA. I was 8
years old, and my mom didn't take me to see Star Wars, so I had to settle for TV. Even so,
it was a GREAT SHOW! I lived and breathed BSG. Click here to learn the
story of a "rag-tag, fugitive fleet, on a lonely quest for shining planet, known as,
earth..." |

One can't mention sci-fi without paying homage to the Star
Trek Universe, and I can definitely say that I am "True Trek". Click here to travel where "no person has gone

Capt. Benjamin Sisko takes over where Picard left off, in
command of a space station near a stable worm-hole. This series peaked in 4th season and
is still going. If you want to know why Klingons are out and The Jem Heddar are in, go here. |

The latest edition to the Star Trek universe, now in its
fourth, and no doubt best season. Man, the difference in ratings that occurs when you add
a BUSTY BORG to the regular crew. For all you "new" Trek watchers, here is a "Seven Of Nine"
site. |
 |
Sometimes the Star Trek universe portrays the future as a
little too "perfect". That's when a diversion is in order. BABYLON 5 is as real
as it gets. For those of you who want a little "spice" in your sci-fi, B5 is the
way to go. What they don't have in budget, they make up for ten-fold in story and content.

I don't always watch sci-fi, sometimes I delve into
fantasy-adventure. What better way to do that than with the "Warrior Princess"
herself, XENA! Hercules is O.K., but the real writing is on Xena. Here is one of the best Xena sites on the web. |
 |
In 1980, I finally did see Star Wars for the first time on
SHOWTIME. Needless to say I was hooked. Even so, I never saw an original Staw Wars film at
the movies, except for Star Wars The Special Edition. I picked up "Empire" and
"Jedi" on video. Here is
a really cool Star Wars site. |

Afterschool programming in the mid 80's was the launch pad
for animated legends such as "Voltron", "He-Man", G.I. Joe, and
"The Thunder Cats". I watched all of them but my favorite was none other than
"The Transformers". Animators, afterschool and saturday morning, are still
remaking and cloning elements of this show today, trying to recapure the magic. Go here to "transform, and roll
out!" |
