March 26th - Diamond Awards
- Alanis Morissette is one of the first ever to receive
the new Diamond Award presented by the RIAA.
A diamond award represents 10,000,000 album units
sold in the United States. Jagged Little Pill is
currently located at 16 million copies sold in the USA
since its 3 years it has been out.

March 10th - Alanis Morissette is being featured
in at least 3 songs on
Jonathan Elias's new CD. The CD is his
first symphony featuring many world artists
in these strange songs. There are three songs
Alanis is featured in: Mercy, Hope and Faith.
The CD will be released March 23rd.

(3/3/99) Alanis is scheduled for this coming Saturday Night Live, March, 6th. a great performance (she sings "Baba" & "Thank U")

(2/24/99) Alanis Morissette won the Best Female Rock Vocal Award for the song, beating out tracks by Sheryl Crow, Tori Amos, Lucinda Williams and Ani DiFranco. Earlier Wednesday "Uninvited", which appeared on the City of Angels soundtrack, also won the Best Rock Song award. Smashing Pumpkins frontman Billy Corgan and Garbage singer Shirley Manson presented the award to Morissette, who said it was "amazing" to work on the City of Angels soundtrack. WOW!! she looked awesome she had flowers and glitter in her hair, a beautiful dress, very elegant. Her performance was fantastic there was an orchestra white smoke coming up like clouds at her feet, she was floating on them like the Arch Angel...I loved it, but of course you could probably tell... :)
