I have to tell you about some of my best friends...
my parents....

I owe you both so much. You've helped me grow
in so many ways....

you gave me wings when I wanted and needed them....
and you gave me roots at the same time...

you gave me morals...and taught me the difference
between right and wrong...

you gave me the ability to think things through
and use my own good judgement...

you gave me a common sense approach to life...

you gave me the ability to love...and the ability to laugh...

you gave me strength and independence but at the same time,
you gave me a very soft sensitive side...

you taught me how to work hard, but that life
isn't all about work...
that play is important also...

in other words, you molded my personality...

you've also given me memories that will last a lifetime...

and for all that and more, I am so very grateful.
