I awoke this morning
With these thoughts in my head
What is he doing
Is he lying asleep in his bed

A smile crossed my face
As my mind envisioned this
And suddenly I longed
For a warm, tender kiss

I would slip in beside him
Caress his sweet face
Wrap myself around him
In a sensuous embrace

Pressing my lips so softly to his
Feeling his response
As I gently wake him
With a soft, tender kiss

Our eyes would meet
The world slips away
My heart telling me
Here is where I long to stay

No more distance between us
No more words to type
Just you and me babe
Alone in our bliss....
