The kitchen curtain was made to match the rest of the open lounge/dining area. It, too,
was made of calico with a 4 inch bottom hem in the floral. Other finishing touches included
bringing the pinks and blues into the herb pots by painting the top rim of the pot in pink or
blue and then stenciling a leaf design in the opposite colour. A vase of fabric tulips was then
placed on the kitchen bench to add some colour to the cream of the walls and splashback.
And a big thanks to my dad for putting up the curtain rods
(and putting up with me while I decided where I wanted them).
