My favorite hobby is computers, and that is why I spend most of my free time on my computer. I currently have two Web sites, this one and my HTML tutorials. I usually get on the Internet every day. I am subscribed to a few mailing lists, and therefore I spend plenty of time reading all the e-mails I get and replying to some of them. These mailing lists have helped me tremendously in learning the proper way of writing HTML, and to advance my knowledge of HTML. When I've finally cleared out my inbox, I take a look at the statistics for my Web sites. Now you know how I spend most of my time online.
I like to watch auto racing, and NASCAR is my favorite type of racing. The '98 Winston Cup Series season is in progress, and I try to watch the races every Sunday afternoon. Who is my favorite race car driver? Jeff Gordon! He is the best driver in NASCAR (in my opinion, of course), and also the youngest driver to win a championship. Who is Jeff Gordon? The picture to the left is Jeff in victory lane after winning another race.
I spend Sunday afternoons watching auto racing and the CNET television programs, and that is usually the only time that I watch TV. When I remember, I like to watch "7th Heaven" on Monday nights. But they've just been showing reruns lately, so I haven't been watching. The rest of my time is spent on my computer (I'm a self-admitted addict). But hey, there's nothing else to do around here.
I am also a ham. If you don't know what a "ham" is, it is an amateur radio operator ("ham" is just a nickname, not an acronym or abbreviation). Amateur radio does not mean that it is radio operation for amateurs; that is just what the hobby is called. I passed the test for my Technician license in July of 1997, and my call letters are NP3PH. Find out more about amateur radio by visiting the American Radio Relay League web site.
