"Twelve to Eighteen Months"

In the past six months Max has truly transitioned from baby to toddler, and to some extent "Little Man". He has a mouth full of teeth now. I think at last count we were up to 16! He has a captivating smile which seems to instantly draw people to him.

He is just full of personality and has a broad vocabulary with which to express himself.

Max now stands at 32 inches in height and weighed 23 pounds at his last check up. He recently underwent some minor surgeory but he seems to be fully recovered now.

Vic and I are still constantly amazed by our son. His good nature, charm and intellegence had to come from somewhere but we still can't figure it out.

"The First Year"

Max is just about to be a year old. The past 12 months have given me more happiness than I ever imagined. Some basic stats on my little angel are: He started to say "mamma" at six months of age. He began to say "dada" about a month or so later. His vocabulary now includes other words such as "red" "ball" "hi" "bye" and "afub" (afub is his way of saying bathtub!). Max LOVES his bath time! Maxi had 8 teeth by the time he was 10 months of age and God help us but he's teething again! Nearly three weeks ago he took his first steps for us. Today, he's pretty much running all over the place. He's growing so fast that sometimes it nearly breaks my heart. Part of me would like him to be my baby forever. Heck, can you blame me? There's no other love like the love of a child (especially before they learn to talk back!). I've never had something so unconditional, so unquestionable. Certainly the best 20 pounds I've ever gained! I still attempt to sing Max to sleep at night but some nights we have to just put him in his crib and let him cry a bit. It seems so incredibly cruel but the little guy needs his sleep and he never cries more than a couple of minutes. He still has his wooby blanket but he gave up the noonoo six months ago. Don't ask me how much he weighs or how tall he his - he hasn't gone for his check-up yet but I assure you, he's a big boy!
Here's Max!

"The Announcment"

On February 4th, 1999 my husband and I became the proud parents of a beautiful baby boy! His name is Maxwell Alexander. He was 6 pounds 6 ounces and was 20 inches in length. We have been truly blessed. There aren't words to describe the joy we both feel over our son.
