All the services once available through the net seems to be discontinued.I report some old URL just in case they restart working.
But if you own a 61x0 you could build a cable to connect your phone to your PC.It's not very difficult... Just follow the instructions showed on this site : www.vsb.cz/~l92048/ncds/english_version/nokia6110.htm
Once you have your cable(NCDS FBus cable) to work (it's important to check the settigs of the COM port you connect it... try if a mouse connected to the serial port you are going to use for your cable works, I had some trouble and I thought was a cable failure!)you will need some software to upload Ringtones on your Nokia.
It's better I don't put Nokia Files on this site if you don't want it to disappear in two days... I can say you have to search for Nokia Cellular Data Suite 2.0.It's copirighted and pretty difficult to find... Try searching for GSM and/or warez 6110 or ask for it on alt.cellular.nokia News Group.
Well...when you find NCDS into a zip file it will probably include also PC Composer.Otherwise search for it too... It's a software that allows you to upload DIRECTLY (without sending SMS) ringtones.

You can only upload a tone a time, for new tone overwrites the old one in the same memory position (for nokia 6110 is the 36th).
There is also a way to send your ringtones to your friends, or to store them as SMS.Once you store a tone as SMS you can't listen it right from the phone, but you can forward it to who you want.You need NOKRING 1.5.5 and the tones in the right format.RTTTL(text) or N9000(NOT MIDI).For the first one you can compose it yourself and save it ,all with Nokring editor(but is very unhandle).Here are some some file in RTTTL format.
Or you can import tones in Nokia communicator format.
It is also possible to convert a mid file (good for PC Composer) into a text file (RTTL for nokring) with Midi2tone.
If you are interested in Original Data Suite Cable,are shipped by www.marquel.com.If you buy it (it is not FBus only like the one you can build yourself) you may be interested also in modifying your Startup Logo.
To turn your own-built FBus cable into a MBus cable(and so compatible for startup logos changing) you can try to add a diode(N4148) between wires that go to pin 7 and 8( 8->7) at the phone.Desolder the contact of the wire to pin 8 ant put it to pin 6(mbus).It should work but I take no responsability for this action(do it ONLY if you believe it will work and you know WHAT you are doing!).Here's a picture with in red the changes...
But maybe you already own a Laptop with IR, or you got an IR device on your PC... You could use it to do everything but modify startup logo (it's a MBusc cable only program)just without the cable.Here are settings and warnings about installing NCDS for IR only.
After the NCDS installation, you can use other applications you can find at Kessler-Design to personalize your Nokia with Logos and Group Graphics!
P.S.Please don't ask me to provide NCDS, becouse I don't have so much time for answers and the links are always changing(Nokia is very active in anti-piracy).
