Somes simple rules for Email trading:

1.

Files for trading

Check the list in the Uncompleted Collections and send only files I need. Please, choose files at random, or else I get the same files from several people. Reload the list every day, check the time of my last update. Don't send files if my last update is more than 1 week old. Do not send (new) scans not listed in my missing list except if you are sending the newest csv as well.

2.

File integrity

Please check your files on size AND CRC-32 before sending them. I suggest you use ScanSort, one of the very best collection manager available, with current data files. For attached files use encoding with MIME, base64 or uuencode (or use a multi-media-enabled mailer like Netscape). If you send many files you may put them in a ZIP file.

3.

Capacity

Send files in packages of less than 1MB per mail, or they will bounce back to you (usa.net limit). Don't send more than 1MB until I respond If you want to trade with me in earnest I will give you my other mail address (no limit there, but I don't want it on an Internet webpage).

4.

Send / Request

Cross series trading is allowed, of course. Quote your requests exactly, don't forget the series. No need to say in detail what you are sending (I'm using ScanSort). Trading ratio is 1:1. If you send large pics and need small ones you may ask for more.

Do not request more than your mailbox could afford. I will not send back any bounced mail.

5.

Misc

Usually, I reply the same day... Somes times, it may take up to 48 hours. If you don't have any reply after 3 days, send me a reminder (Email aren't perfect...)

Too many rules? USE COMMON SENSE, that's what all those rules mean!
