Welcome to Jan's homepage

Hi! Thanks for visiting the homepage of Jan Hudson. (I used to be Jan Willis, but since January 2000 have been the happy wife of Toby Hudson) - see the wedding photo below taken overlooking Sydney Harbour - our home town!


Currently Toby and I are in Oxford, doing D.Phils (Oxford's fancy name for a PhD). Mine is in "bioinorganic chemistry" in the Armstrong group.


I did my undergraduate science degree in inorganic chemistry at the University of Sydney. In my final year project, I investigated the interactions between buckyballs and porphyrins using spectroscopy. This was part of the Vibrational Spectroscopy Laboratory.

Toby and I are also Christians, and are members of St Ebbes Church Oxford. You can also check out our old university Christian group Sydney University Evangelical Union.
