Friends and 'Family'

I've always said that my friends are the most important thing to me, and I've been blessed with many wonderful friendships throughout my life. They have brought me through the hardships and helped make my life so darn fun! Now's my chance to embarrass the hell out of them!

The photo above was taken at a little soiree at my apartment in January, 1998...Ed is above me, Pam beside him, and Dan, the goofball that he is, is showing us his wild side. No! We're not drunk! ;-) Wanna see some more group shots (get your mind out of the gutter!)? Click here

This is Dan, my best friend in Pittsburgh. Dan and I started chatting online well before I moved to Pittsburgh, and soon became my first and closest friend here. There were spans of time when he and I saw each other everyday...mostly to bemoan the state of our love lives! Oh, yeah...we founded the organization MAA (Men Are Assholes), but I have since left its ranks :-)
Dan is one of the most caring and genuine people I have ever had the honor of calling a friend...plus he's a great actor and singer (If I have to hear him sing Rent ONE MORE TIME...j/k!!)! Look for him soon on a Broadway Marquee!!!

Here's a pic of Sean and me. I met Sean through Dan but it took a long while for him and I to become close friends. To put it lightly, the man is a party animal! He would go out every night of the week if everyone around him weren't so tired! I like to call Sean the Big Ear cause he is so good at listening to people's problems (including a few of my own) and always has sound advice to offer. And you MUST hear us sing Celine Dion songs together...we RAWK!

You'd think these two were the happiest heterosexual couple around! Don't be fooled though...they both like guys :) This is Pam and Ed, two of my bestest friends from back home. These two give the question "will they or won't they???" a whole new meaning! (nuff said about that!) Pam was my roomie all the way out in Flagstaff, AZ for a year. Ed is the kind of friend I can call up after months of no contact and still laugh my ass off. Pam and Ed are like peas and carrots...they go so well together!!

These are days you'll remember. Never before and never since, I promise, will the whole world be warm as this. And as you feel it you'll know it's true that you are blessed and lucky. It's true that you are touched by something that'll grow and bloom in you.

I don't know who these guys are but I sure wouldn't mind calling them friends!
