Join 1or Join 2 will join you to a team, and get you in the game. You must be on a team to play. If you do not join a team and continue to play you will automatically be kicked from the channel. If you return and still do not join a team you may be banned.
Show teams will show you which players are on which team, and those who have not yet joined a team.
Show scores will show the current scores (pretty obvious huh?)
Name team 1 or Name team 2 will rename the team you are on. Please remember to keep team names appropriate.
Stats <nick> Will show you how many points that player has scored during the current game.
Show server will show which server the bot is using. If you are on the same server as the bot, your lag time will usually be better, and speed really counts in this game.
/msg QBot help will give you most of
these same commands and a few basic reminders about language and behavior.
Rule #1... BE NICE! :)
We don't have a whole lot of rules in #Trivia.
Keep the lanuage clean (beware of the auto-kick for swearing), be courteous
to others, no flooding or caps.
The Ops -
The #Trivia ops are friendly, easy to get along with and are happy to help you with any questions you may have. If an op makes a request, please do as they ask. If you think an op is being unreasonable, please e-mail me an explanation of what happened and I will see what I can do. The channel is logged 24 hours a day and logs are kept for 48 hrs and an incident can be reviewed.
To become an op you just need to be a regular
player. Once we get to know, and if we need to add new ops, you will be
asked. Or, if you have been a regular player and would like to be an op,
you can always ask and if we feel we need one and you would be a good one
- that is all it takes. No big forms and questionaires. No signing over
your first-born (I don't need any more kids!)
