A group of citizens who felt as though the Friendship Fire Co. #1 was having difficulty's covering the north end of the fast growing city, chartered the Good Will Fire Company #2 on April 22, 1887. Since then, the company has been through its up's and downs and has gone through major changes with time and technology.

------IMPORTANT DATES IN HISTORY------

April 22, 1887 -Good Will Fire Company chartered
January 13, 1888 -First company meeting
December 1889 -New two room building, consisted of hose room and meeting room
1904 -Good Will Fire Co. goes modern replacing it's old hose crab with a horse drawn hose wagon.
January 1922 -New firehouse
September 3,1945 -Good Will Fire Co. host a VJ Day Parade, considered by most oldtimers to be the biggest parade in City history, an estimated 50,000 people lined the street to watch the parade
April 22, 1962 -Good Will Fire Co. celebrates its 75th anniversery
April 22, 1987 -Good Will Fire Co. celebrates it's 100th anniversery
