These are some examples of my Built in Furniture

This custom range hood utilizes a fan unit & duct kit and then has a wooden hood built around it. The angles on this piece were a real challenge. Matching the rope moldings around the corners was also quite a little adventure.

This mantel is made from Red Oak and was my first attempt at building a mantel. I received a big hug for this one as well as payment, so I think the client was happy.

This mantel incorporated some intricate machine carved korbels and molding. This mantel was for a new house. The fact that it was for a corner fireplace presented some challenges, but the biggest challenge was cutting the miters on the carved molding. There were only a couple of places that it could be done and there was no margin for error.

This built-in bookcase was built of Ash and features adjustable shelves in the base unit and at the sides of the window.  A fixed shelf spans the top of the window. The entire unit was finished with a whitewash and coated with satin polyurethane. A custom built crown moulding was placed at the top.

This unit was built to fill a useless space between the dining room and the living room in this client's towne home.  It features drawers on slides behind the doors. It has non-functional glass doors on the living room side to match the real ones on the dining room side(this view).
