My Post-Lasik Vision

Here is a fairly close representation of what I see with my left eye in dark conditions when looking at a light source.  As you can see, this is not a typical starburst pattern at all!  I do have a little bit of starbursting, which I have drawn, but the largest optical aberation, by far, is the smeared image.  For small, bright objects (i.e.point sources), the smearing actually is made up of strangely-curved lines.  For larger objects, the lines merge together and result in this smeared-together image.

As maybe you can imagine, when viewing more complicated images, such as street signs, everything starts to run together and makes things impossible to see clearly.

If anyone has any ideas as to what might be causing this, please let me know!
Jeff
