THE FERN IS FREE!!!

A few weeks after the wishing well locale opened, I found a fern or part of it sticking out from under the well. There about 2 pixels of the fern sticking out, I have circled where they are. Since that time I have tried to come by each day and visit the fern. I have spent a few evenings there talking to the fern. I even brought another fern to give it a friend. The picture above is one of those times I visited the fern. The fern seems to like the music and Bert likes to dance around the little fern. I did warn Bert he's not allow to nibble on the fern.

Last year I asked UNI to free the fern on Fern Day, but I got no reply. I dont know why the Oracles haven't freed the fern to this day. But I think its about time something should be done. Please join with me and show your support for getting the poor little fern freed from the Wishing Well by wearing a fern head or carrying a fern. Let the acolytes, Mages, Oracle UNI, Brother Echo, and/or the dreamteam know that you want the poor fern freed from under the wishing well.

I have spoken to Thea and she has talked to the fern. Apparently the Sisters of Nime can talk to the plants and animals. She informs me that the fern has been stuck under the well for as long as it can remember. The fern is nameless and lonely and would like to be freed from the well. She will speak to Brother Echo about moving the well off the fern. So more as we hear back but, in the mean time let's pick a name for the little fern. Email me your suggestion for a name at mpm@fnex.com. We will compile the list and vote on the the name sometime on Fern Day as I have not gotten a confirmation on the schedule yet. I will put up 10k for the winning name. (Plese remember to include your Avatar name if you want to win the 10k).

I heard back from Brother Echo on his attempts to move the well. It seems he can't! For some reason he couldn't move the well when he tried. He also said he talked to UNI who said she had tried several times over the past year to move it to free the fern and found she couldn't move it either. She suggested that he consult Morpheus and so he is doing that and should be back with an answer on how to free the fern soon. Mrs. Wert says its probably the "Wishing" magic that is preventing the well from being moved. But I have my doubts about the strength of "wishing" magic. So, Mrs. Wert and I have a bet on the strength of wishing magic. We would like everyone to email us your "wish stories" to mpm@fnex.com. There will be some sort of prize for the best wish story. We will also let everyone vote on them sometime on Fern Day. (Hopefully we will get it all scheduled soon.) Please remember to include your avatar's name with your wish story.

Well, guys you did it! A number of people showed up for the Naming of the Fern even though Fern Heads were being unglued all day and distracted many. We had 55 names entered and the top name was Wert's Finicky Fern (entered by Time) followed by Natlie (entered by Egyptain Goddess). However, the little fern had his own idea as to what it would like to be called. It's new name is "Free At last!!!". Chameleon and Electra showed up after the crowd had wished the fern freed and said that it still looked sad and so the crowd wished again. We all wished for a friend for the little guy and another fern appeared. This new fern is named "Mrs. Free at last!!!". In the picture above I am pointing out to Bert the two ferns. Bert wished real hard that day too, it gave him such a headache he couldnt play poker with his bug friends that night in the jungle. Brother Echo showed up while Bert and I were there and he said he had a message from Morpheus on how to free the fern but he was delayed in returning with it on Saturday. The message was "Many Minds, One Thought". I guess that shows that we as a group united can do just about anything. Remember, keep believing in the magic and all things are possible.

We Did help the little fern!!!

Take some time and visit the new fern couple!!!
