Aug 18, 1999:
These are for those that i did not play back then... and mostly still
haven't. But i got the shots already so might as well dump them all here.
Ace of Aces (Accolade, Artech Digital Productions, 1986, 1987) |
WW2 sim, which i always like. |
Arkanoid (...) |
Who hasn't tried this one at some point or other. |
Arctic Fox (...) |
Now i know why the pics turned out b&w. I saved as jpg, instead of gif like i did b4. idiot. And the sharewell software craped out (expired.) This is the last pix i managed to remedy. These damn black and white jpgs take up more space than color gifs, which is surprising to me and the reason why i switched to jpgs. maybe jpgs are smaller rule only applies to big files. |
Bouncing Baby (...) |
Buck Rogers: Matrix Cubed (SSI/TSR, 199?) |
The sequel to Countdown to Doomsday that i never got my hands on, until now... but have yet to try. |
Bushido Blade (...) |
This is supposed to be a classic, looks like my kind of game, just waiting for my time.... |
Grand Slam Bridge (Cybron Corporation, 1985, 1986) |
I have almost totally forgotten how to play Bridge. |
Nuclear War (New World computing, 1989) |
I actually played this one. With names like Infidel Castro, and the ability to nuke everybody indiscriminately, this is a sickly fun game. |
Platoon (Ocean, 1987) |
Based on the movie, which is pretty good. Don't know about the game. Probably stinks. |
Shinobi (SEGA/ Micromosaics Productions, 198?) |
Not a very good conversion of the coin-op, which is excellent, one of the first arcade i ever played. |
Tomahawk (Digital Integration, 1987) |
Gunship (and 2000) is the first heli-sim i spend any amt of time on. But generally prefer WW2 sims. |
The Dam Busters (Accolade/Sydney Development Corp 1984/85) |
Another WW2 sim, this time manning a bomber. |
